Private Technical Preview

SiteAI

AI developer for your website

Connect your AI and let SiteAI inspect, diagnose and maintain your website through controlled tools.

Built initially for 1C-Bitrix. Designed to expand to other website platforms later.

Current preview: read-only tools. ChatGPT plan usage without an API key has been tested in the OSS/self-hosted flow. Hosted browser onboarding is pending.

Website context, without the copy-paste

Why SiteAI

Traditional AI coding tools require developers to manually copy task descriptions, code, logs, screenshots, CMS context and server details. SiteAI connects the AI agent directly to controlled website tools.

Understands the website

CMS-aware tools instead of blind code generation.

Uses controlled access

The model receives only the data required for the task, within the connector’s allowed scope.

Verifies what it does

Changes are designed to be followed by verification, audit and rollback workflows.

Write and rollback workflows are planned next. The current preview is read-only.

One controlled round trip

How it works

  1. Website
  2. SiteAI
    Connector
  3. SiteAI
    Gateway
  4. AI model
  5. Controlled
    tool call
  6. Website
    result
  7. AI answer

The website never receives the user’s OpenAI OAuth credentials.

Ask about the website from its own admin panel. The connector provides the permitted context; the Gateway coordinates inference and tool calls.

  1. Install the SiteAI connector.
  2. Connect your SiteAI account.
  3. Connect an eligible AI provider.
  4. Ask a question about the website.
  5. The AI requests only the tools it needs.
  6. SiteAI executes approved read-only operations.
  7. The AI returns the result in the website admin panel.

Implemented and tested in the PoC

Working technical preview

A working read-only integration on 1C-Bitrix, with real inference and tool execution. These are current capabilities; planned work is listed separately below.

Inside 1C-Bitrix

  • 1C-Bitrix admin integration
  • Bitrix version and site metadata
  • IBlock inspection
  • Read-only filesystem access

Real AI requests

  • Hosted SiteAI Gateway
  • Real Responses API inference
  • GPT-6.1-Sol tested successfully
  • Real function/tool calls

Connection and execution

  • Persistent site connection
  • Persistent conversations and jobs
  • Signed site-to-gateway requests
  • Replay protection
  • Security audit trail

ChatGPT plan usage without an OpenAI API key works in the accepted OSS/self-hosted preview flow. See the hosted access status →

End-to-end validation

Tested on a real 1C-Bitrix installation

The current SiteAI prototype has been tested end-to-end on a real 1C-Bitrix website.

Bitrix Admin UI → SiteAI Gateway → OpenAI → controlled tool call → SiteAI Connector → OpenAI → streamed answer in Bitrix UI

Read-only checks

  • Detect Bitrix and PHP versions
  • Inspect active site template metadata
  • Read an explicitly allowed template file
  • Inspect IBlocks and their properties

Live negative security tests

Executed against the Gateway and Connector, including traversal, unsigned requests, replay attempts and forbidden write/exec operations.

Explicit boundaries

Security by design

OpenAI credential isolation

OpenAI credentials remain on the SiteAI Gateway and are never exposed to the connected website.

Per-site authentication

Each site uses its own signed connection.

Restricted tools

The current preview exposes read-only tools only.

Sensitive file protection

Credentials, environment files, private keys, backups and sensitive configuration paths are blocked.

Audit trail

Tool execution metadata is recorded without storing file contents by default.

Human approval for future write mode

Planned write operations will require a diff, backup, approval, verification and rollback.

Planned; not available in this preview.

Questions close to the work

For site owners and developers

These are the questions SiteAI is being built to help investigate. The current preview can inspect allowed files and CMS metadata; broader diagnostics and changes remain planned.

Site owners

  • “Why is this page broken?”
  • “Why does this product have no price?”
  • “Which part of the site is causing an error?”
  • “Check the website configuration.”

Developers and agencies

  • Inspect an existing Bitrix project
  • Find the relevant component or template
  • Investigate CMS data
  • Review logs and context through controlled tools, as supported tools expand
  • Work across multiple client websites later

Planned work

What’s next

Roadmap items are not part of the current technical preview.

Changes with review

  • Safe file changes
  • Diff before apply
  • Automatic backup
  • Verification after changes
  • Rollback

Deeper diagnostics

  • Server diagnostics
  • Database diagnostics
  • Security audit

Broader coverage

  • Multiple websites
  • Agency workspace
  • More website platforms
  • Additional AI providers

Account connection status

Sign in with ChatGPT

SiteAI is designed to let eligible users connect their own ChatGPT account and explicitly authorize ChatGPT plan usage.

Tested · OSS / self-hosted

Working technical flow

The official open-source/self-hosted Sign in with ChatGPT flow has been implemented and tested successfully, including OAuth refresh and Responses API inference without an OpenAI API key.

Pending · hosted access

Browser-only onboarding

Production hosted browser-only onboarding requires a hosted OpenAI OAuth client and is currently being requested from OpenAI.

Commercial hosted access pending. This page does not offer a live ChatGPT sign-in.

OpenAI documents separate access requirements for open-source plan usage ↗ and hosted website sign-in ↗.
